When we opened our first showroom of Rajasthan-inspired traditional attire in Jaipur in the year 2000, we pioneered organized retailing in the ethnic wear sector. For customers who, till then, had no option but to settle for low quality, high priced merchandise from unscrupulous traders, the Utsav store was a dream come true! Encouraged by the overwhelming response, we started our wholesale operations from Jaipur in 2003. Soon we were reaching out to customers all over India with branded ethnic wear – the finest, the most intricately woven and embroidered, and the most authentic and gorgeous of sarees, salwar kameez, lehenga cholis, accessories and footwear exclusively manufactured or sourced from all over the country. The Utsav Online Collection opened to the world a year after. In 2004, the Utsav site entered the World Wide Web and redefined online shopping. Now, anybody anywhere could choose anything he or she wanted from our online showcase! Suddenly geography had become history!
